TimberCenter HotFix 4.0.1 has been released |
| HotFix corrects in TimberCenter Tools/Search and Report/PRD printout, totals on the two columns m3fub and m3fob. HotFix includes also correction to Search and Report Wizards search parameters. HotFix requires a previous installation of TimberCenter 4.0. A new Crypkey code is not required after installation of HotFix. Trial period is still valid after installation of the HotFix. |

Neue Funktionen in TimberOffice 4.0:
Neues Programm: TimberLink Office:
– Ein Tool für die Analyse von TimberLink-Daten im Büro
– Im TimberOffice-Installationspaket (DVD) enthalten
– Daten können vom Timbermatic 300-System per E-mail (*.zip-Datei) versand werden. Zip-Datei wird in TimberLink Office eingelesen
– Daten können auf einem USB-Stick von der Maschine zum Büro-PC übertragen werden. Zu TimberLink Office gehört ein Programm, mit dem USB-Sticks für TimberLink-Daten konfiguriert werden.
– TimberLink Office besitzt die gleichen Funktionen wie das TimberLink-Program im Harvester sowie eine wichtige neue Funktion: Die Analyse von Daten mehrer Harvester
– TimberLink-Daten werden in der Datenbank von TimberCenter gesichert
Neue Funktionen in TimberNavi und TimberCenter:
– TimberNavi unterstützt GHD-Dateien im StanForD –Format:
- Neues GIS-Dateipaket mit Karten, grafischen Oberflächen, StanForD-Dateien und anderen Dateien wie zum Beispiel *.doc, *.xls
- Funktionen von grafischen Oberflächen werden unterstützt
– *.PRL-Datei (Produktionsdatei vom Rückezug) von TimberNavi-Logistik
- Produktionsdatei mit den Koordinaten des Zwischenlagerplatzes
- Export von TimberNavi-Logistikstandort
– TimberCenter ist das einzige Programm, das die folgenden StanForD –Dateien unterstützt:
- Rückezug-Produktionsdatei (*.PRL): Speicherung, Ausdrucke und Suche
- Harvester-Produktionsdatei (*.PRI): Speicherung, Ausdrucke und Suche
Neue Funktionen in SilviA:
– Unterstützung für neue WRS-Ausdrucke (Work and Repair Statistics-Datei *.drf),
– Unterstützung für Schaftholzdaten (Stammdurchmesser, Astigkeit) in apt-Datei
– Das neue SilviA 2006 enthält 5 Module: Basis (erforderlich, enthält zum Beispiel Funktionen für die Erstellung von Ausdrucken), Aushaltung, Simulation, Nachverfolgung und Überwachung. Der Kunde kann die benötigten Module auswählen.
Andere Merkmale von Version 4.0:

Service-Paket für die Version 2.1 von TimberOffice™ erhältlich! |
Für die Version 2.1 von TimberOffice™, die im Herbst 2003 herauskam, ist jetzt ein Service-Paket erhältlich. Das Service-Paket kann verwendet werden, um die Eigenschaften der Software zu aktualisieren und um einige völlig neue Funktionen zum Programm hinzuzufügen. Die Modifikationen, die im Service-Paket beinhaltet sind, gehören hauptsächlich zu den TimberCenter™- und TimberNavi™-Anwendungen, aber das Service-Paket aktualisiert auch die SilviA™-Anwendung auf die neueste Version 5.01.
Das Service-Paket ist auf der TimberOffice™-Website unter Support-Downloads kostenlos erhältlich. Das Installationspaket umfasst etwa 9 Mb und setzt die vorherige Installation der Version 2.1 von TimberOffice™ auf Ihrem Computer voraus.

NEW TIMBEROFFICE VERSION 2.1 LAUNCHED! |
A new version of Timberjack’s TimberOffice™ software package was launched at the end of November 2003. Development of the new version was driven primarily by feedback from customers. The goal of the new version development was to provide a more efficient software tool for machine contractors. Although the focus was mainly on improving existing features, the new version of TimberOffice™ also includes some attractive new features.
The marketing segment of TimberOffice™ is enlarged in the new version. Version 2.1 provides support for the French language as well as support for a coordinate system that is commonly used in France. A coordinate system for the Baltic countries is also supported and some new zones for existing coordinate systems are implemented.
New functionalities provided in TimberOffice™ 2.1 focus mainly on the TimberNavi program. TimberOffice™ 2.1 includes a new Logistics version of TimberNavi™ in which the range of application also includes forwarders and it facilitates management of harvester production information. A built-in e-mail system in the new TimberNavi™ makes it possible to automatically send information about production to the forwarder from the harvester. And it is possible in the forwarder to visualize harvester production on the map, including tree species or assortment specific, if it is needed. The forwarder operator can report on the progress of his work to the office. For example, the operator could send information about the wood transported and locations of storage sites by e-mail. TimberNavi™ 2.1 enables more efficient work planning and information sharing, even when circumstances are extremely difficult.
With the launch of the new version of TimberOffice™, the available programs versions will change. New versions of the following programs are now available:
